A Decade of Roofing Excellence
In 2013, RDW Roofing was established in Launceston, laying the groundwork for our future growth. Our first warehouse was set up in Kings Meadows, marking the beginning of our journey in the roofing industry.
By 2015, RDW Roofing expanded its operations into Hobart, opening a new warehouse in Glenorchy. This year also saw the acquisition of a Fasco belt elevator, enhancing our ability to salvage roof tiles during re-roofing projects.
In 2017, we further expanded our reach by establishing a presence in Canberra, with a new warehouse in Queanbeyan. This year was significant for our fleet expansion, as we added a new 5T tipper truck, streamlining our rubbish removal process during re-roofing and costing around $120,000.
The year 2020 was marked by challenges and achievements. We completed over 280 hail-damaged roof repairs and re-roofs following the catastrophic January 2020 hail storm in Canberra. Additionally, we invested in innovative E-Bracket edge protection, enhancing the safety and efficiency of our scaffolding systems.
In 2021, RDW Roofing became the exclusive distributor of Monier roof tiles in Tasmania, further solidifying our position in the industry.
In 2022, our team relocated to Melbourne for three months to provide emergency make safes and repairs to those that were affected during the catastrophic Victorian storms.
With countless successful roofing projects completed and seven years of work, 2024 marks the year we wrapped up our efforts in the ACT to completely focus our time on Tasmania. We continue to stand as a leader in the industry, dedicated to delivering quality roofing solutions and customer satisfaction throughout Hobart, Launceston, and North-West Tasmania.
